introduction

music is one of the important thing in this world. without it we can’t dance, perform arts, etc. it is the science or art of incorporating pleasing, expressive, or intelligible combinations of vocal or instrumental tones into a composition having definite structure and continuity. it came from many traditions in old time. one of it is the anglo-american tradition of music. it is called that way because its origin is traceable to england, scotland, and ireland. they are popular in ballad and storytelling and convergence of poetry and music. the other tradition is the African-american tradition which is according to daniel kingman is popular in religious folk songs. they started in the spiritual needs, “it came into being following the conversion of significant numbers of slaves to christiantity.
